A quick thought...
So I was thinking..
Who is licensed and who isn't licensed..
I know
Panini has NBA rights, and NFL rights... NHL rights too ?
UD has NHL, and NCAA rights ?
Topps is the only licensed MLB card ? and they also have NFL rights..
am I missing anything ?

Panini is licence is hockey as well as UD. So two manufacturer since 2010-11 season in hockey. They both can release 11 product only. This is why UD now include ICE as a insert since they do not have enough liscense as they use to have (22 in 2009-10).

The advantage of being a global company (headquartered in Italy) with apparently enough money to fly in most of the North American staff for week-long meetings at central HQ. The king of Panini likes making stickers & sports cards, and they're doing it in all fields of the game.

Good call RGM81..
I must say Panini has ruined the game used patch market..
It seems you get atleast one patch card per box..
I mean I love the sweet sick looking patches but they have made the overall value of them decrease.
I use to like Fleer cards..wish my D. Wade Auto would've been redeemed ERR
