What happened to long odd inserts?
Now only hits you can get are gauranteed 2-4 a box and maybe you can get a case hit. But why is Panini not doing hits that are 1 in so many packs.

Because then the mob would hate them for not providing value per box.....
There's some good to doing something like that but I don't think the average box breaker is going to accept going through a box with no hit(s). Even at say sub $50.
btw, when was the last company to put out such a product? Fleer?

Yeah but they should have longer odd hits. I mean how many game used and autos are needed.

I agree with cardcollectorman. I think Panini needs to take a courageous step foward, and release a product with only 1 hit per box, and longshot odds of some really cool inserts, like the old Jambalaya cards. I like what they're doing with the gold cards, hrx video cards, etc., but I think they need to try and get more of the focus off of hits and onto just regular, neat-looking inserts. I mean look at Pokemon, Yugioh, and Cabbage patch ~ all they need is a little advertising, couple 'shiny' cards, and smart strategizing and suddenly worthless cards become $$$ to kids' eyes. If Panini can do the same thing with a particular products' cards, imagine how revitalizing that would be for the industry, and how much money they could make w/o actually buying jerseys and autographs.

Why would they do that? All collectors/dealers want anymore is GU/Auto?

I would fall over and die if a card company actually came out to actually make GOOD card designs. Now-a-days all people want is a piece of something stuck on a card with an auto...i think they'll go with selling $100.00 packs of cards...and glue something to it, you don't need to be creative to do that...
