    Ebay Question

    Hey everyone,

So after browsing ebay for a long time I finally picked up 2 sets of cards (for what I think is a pretty sweet price).

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/160667031060?...84.m1439.l2649

    and

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/160667031160?...84.m1439.l2649

Anyways, as you can see both auctions ended on the 24th. I sent him a message a few hours after winning it in case he could manage to combine the shipping or something of that nature.

He hasn't answered me back, and I am kind of in a quandary as to what to do. Should I just keep waiting and assume he will respond soon? Does this happen often?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

You can chose to 'Request Total' from the seller - which will send him an automatic email from eBay..... so he should then fill out a single invoice for the two auctions. The description says he will combine shipping - so I'm sure you'll get an answer (and proper invoice) back from him before too long.

    Some peOple are really busy
I have waited in some cases months for replies, and when they reply the question or whatever it is is irrelevant

    I figure if I don't recieve a message within a day, I never will
Some ebayers are really good, log on daily etc
Others just post them, log on after tgey sell and ship
Maybe that's what your guy is doing,

You might not not get a big rebate even if he combine since these are big lot and may cost him a lot more to ship in one shippement. Not like ading a card to a other card. So I would not expect a big rebate since he obviousy count on shipping to make money and packaging take more time so he probably charge for that in the shipping. But always worth asking as he could definitly make a better price then 13$ for both.

It states this in the description:
Lots, Sets, if I can discount I will, however after shipping enough sets, the shipping charge for a set/lot accurately reflects only the actual postage to ship.By adding an additional winning set(s), the weight/postage increases proportionately. Therefore, by adding the stated shipping charges for each auction together, in most instances this will be amount for the actual postage to ship multiple sets/lots in the US and Canada based on USPS published rates.
So I doubt there will be any savings on shipping.
I've shipped sets before and it is expensive to ship because of the weight.
It doesn't hurt to request a combined invoice though.

Pay the full amount. Always important to understand terms of deals before bidding.

You have to read this to understand his shipping charge.

Shipping can be combined for multiple winning auctions, please follow the chart below:
    • 1-4 Cards $2.00
    • 5-10 Cards $3.00
    • 11-15 Cards $4.00
    • 16+ Cards $5.50
Not sure but i dont think you will have any discount, and his price is fair.

I had every intention of paying the full amount if I had to, just wanted to see if there was any way to get cheaper shipping :)

Nice of the seller to give you a $3 off.
