    Polynice back in the NBA

The Clippers are giving former Jazz(other teams as well) F/C another shot, he has been out of the NBA for a couple of years now by signing him to a 1 year deal.

I guess the Clips signed him, because they need someone to replace "the Kandi Man" whom they lost to the T-Wolves. But i thought this guy was washed up, does he have anything left? He's at least 36 years old...

Polynice, in his prime with Seattle, was just your average big center.

He could block a few shots, score a few points, grab a few rebounds.....

    nothing special.

Now that he's 36, I don't see how he's going to be effective vs. Shaq, Duncan, or any other elite center?

The Clippers are clearly desperate for any decent player that they can get their hands on, but even Polynice seems like a reach because all this guy has done throughout his career is get older without much improvement.

This was a complete desperation move, signing a player much past his prime, which wasnt even very impressive in the first place
