hey Don, Im sure we can work out something... I have about 300 extra 2005 Bowman issues...about 60 05 Topps extras, about 10 Josh Becket, almost 150 Carlos beltran, and a few cards of some of the young prospects you listed... as for me , i am interested in these starter sets.. thanks and LMK how we can work this out

all three bowman starter sets contain many stars and rookies....................especially the 1998 bowman starter. i used the high beckett values of each individual card to determine to total value of each starter set which actually is greater than the value of the complete set(s):
1997 bowman starter......... 360 diff cards valued at $102 (315 commons...rest are stars, rookies and semi/minor stars)
1998 bowman................... 357 diff cards valued at $121 (295 commons, the rest are listed stars, rookies and semi/minor stars)
2000 bowman................... 305 different cards valued at $98 (240 commons.........others are listed stars, rookies, minor/semi stars)

Okay i can do this... it will be in your favor by no more than 20.00 maybe if you can throw in some 03 Bowman commons or something... if not thats fine... but heres the trade im proposing to you...
