Toronto Sports Card Expo - Less than 2 weeks!

Am I the only one super-psyched for this? I'm a grown man, yet have been looking forward to this for weeks now (probably because work has been so hectic, its nice to have a distraction).

Who all is going? What are your plans? Will you do any of the redemptions?

I'm happy I managed to budget more money this year...but I must resist boxes (which is tough considering how great the Decades 80s redemptions look). I'm going all 3 days (staying in a hotel with the guys from Cloutsnchara) and I want to scour every table for Perry cards that I need. Hopefully his Hart trophy doesn't boost his card prices too much (doubt it'll change, people hate him :P).

seems like the UD redemptions this time around is different. used to be you could just bring a box up and open it in front of their booth to get the redemption card. now you need to buy the box from a certified dealer to get a ticket and you need to bring both to get the redemption card now.

I don't blame them for doing this. Means that people can't buy super cheap boxes somewhere else then come in for the redemption. They have to buy inside the show.

And maybe this'll keep the lines shorter, which is always a plus.

I will be there on Friday afternoon around the time they open, and I may go back Sunday if time permits. I will be looking for cards of my PC guys, as well as some ITG Decades Autos that I've been having trouble with. I'm sure something will catch my eye, and I hope to meet some folks from this site while at the show.

My challenge will be in staying within my budget.

Anyone know what the redemptions are going to be?
