Briere Shootout Goal
This goal should have been disallowed. Not only did Briere come to complete stop, he drew the puck backwards before resuming his skate around Hedberg. The player, and puck are supposed to be moving in a forward direction, which is why you don;t see players trying wraparounds behind the net.
Goalies are already at a disadvantage with players executing sin-o-ramas, lacrosse moves and hand passes to themselves (check the link).
If the NHL wants to turn into a NBA style showboating adventure, keep allowing goals like Briere'sHidden Content
