    Rant on Feedback...

When I am trading, I dont think that a feedback rating is always a relevant way to decide on a traders' worth. Its very biased. I feel that someone is more trustworthy with 10 successful trades of 150.00+ each time than 150 trades where a common is traded for a common or a 5.00 jersey card is traded for another 5.00 jersey card.

If you are looking to make a higher dollar trade, asking for references isnt even a good way anymore with all of the fake email addresses and redirected emails.

Its almost like that next step will be in person trading only. Too many people looking to make a quick buck the wrong way. I am always looking for a deal, but its tough to trust people, regardless of their feedback.

That's why it's customary (at least in my opinion) for new traders to make small trades to build up feedback and THEN start dealing the higher end stuff once credibility is established. Too many times I've seen newbies go straight to trading the high-end and alot of times,no one even replies to their posts because no one knows the person's track record. We've all started somewhere and gone through the "having to send first" phase, but once you've passed that,it's all gravy baby :D

Agreed on all of your points. I have dont my end trading with people on these boards that I knew from elsewhere, so it worked for me. I also give my personal info and offer to call and give my phone # to talk over the phone.

I have a lot of trades that have been shipped or are pending feedback..I think 14 of them or so. I think that a lot of my posts HAVE been ignored becase I have some higher end and I only have the 1 positive. I guess we will see once my numbers rise. Otherwise, just gotta keep posting and adding to my numbers!
    Thanks for the constructive replies!

Some people don't have the luck nor can afford cards over 150 dollars either...
