Opening a tin lasts 3 minutes. Reward is of course one of the /99 ARPs. But afraid if you don't get what you want, you will feel terrible.

that sinking feeling is not fun when you get a bad tin

My opinion - buy a few individual cards that you want from the series you like (cup or dominion).

You are looking at selling of 5 of your $100 cards and spending $300 on a potential miss that will leave you with little to show for your former pc cards and cash. Regret sucks.

For $300 you get a few really sweet PC cards....regarless of who it is.

JMO and definitely not knocking box breakers. Unfortunately the odds are against you on hitting one of the big ones.

    Good luck with your decision.

There is a certain thrill in cracking anything, but if you are looking to profit from a break, I agree with Don 100% on this.

I thought about the singles part but I dont get to break to often and I really love the thrill of boxbreaking.

I think scotts first post really put me into the decision with staying away from the cup because of the few minutes of fun compared to the 2-3-4 hours of fun with a case.

Since im still a younger collector i think its smarter to go with something like ud1 or certified because of how many cards i will get comapred to 5-6 in the cup. To get burnt on the cup would be devastating to me so that will have to come later lol

ill watch a few breaks of certified and ud1 and see what i like better. thanks for everyones post

Id suggest Dominion over The Cup! Dominion u can grab at 350$, and then some nice random boxes (Artifacts, Parkhurst Champs, Certified, Contenders, etc)

Have to do a Tin of the Cup, there's nothing like it really, at least to me. The excitement of cracking a tin far outweighs cracking a box or 12 of UD, especially if you never have. You have to open at least 1! you could do 1 Tin of the Cup and One of Dominion with $800. Just depends if you like quality or quantity. But Id advise trying a Tin and making future judgements afterward.

i have to agree!!!!! there is nothing like opening a tin of the cup!!!! NOTHING!!!!! the excitement is just amazing!!!! i know i opened three cases this year and had amazing luck!!! not saying you will but hey..you never know!!!! you might have beginners luck!!!! you have to try a tin!!!!! to me??? opening the others is just boring plain boring!!! ya you get one pack..but if it were me??? i would take the shot there are still a great number of big hits to be had out there!!!! good luck
