I have tons of autographs in person, but my favorite is Mariano Rivera (Even though I'm a huge Red Sox fan). My father worked with Mariano's brother and my dad arranged for Mariano to come to my house in 2002. The Yankees were in Baltimore (I live in Delaware) and his brother was getting married that fall, so him and Mariano had to pick out a tux. My dad kept saying he was going to come, but I didn't believe him. So being at the party stage in my life (22 years old), I went to LIDS and grabbed a hat a few days beforehand and not putting in any other effort to get anything signed.

So my dad tells me he was coming to the house at 11ish and to be up. So I am waiting upstairs in my bedroom when I hear a beep and look outside to a tinted Mercedes Benz. I was like OMG. So I rushed downstairs to see Mariano walking through my garage. I just didn't know what to say and we took a couple of pictures and talked for a little bit when he signed my hat. After that we went out back and talked about him growing up for about 30 mins before he had to leave.

Being a HUGE sports fan, this has to be the best moment in my sports life. To have a future HOF and the greatest closer of all time at my house to see me.....words cannot explain.

However, now I am regretting not getting a Baseball signed or other things signed (although a few months earlier he sent a ball with him, Bernie Williams, Soriano, Luis Sojo, Ramon Mendez (sp?) and someone else but has since faded) :(. I am going to send him a TTM request, so that is next on my agenda.

But getting Mario Lemieux IP is also just as great for me.

I'm new here and have only been collecting UFC/MMA autographs.

My favorite autograph is a pair of Anderson Silva shorts I got IP that come from a bar promotional tool. Long story short, I got it for $30. It's about 2 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet.
