Honestly, I would either break them or hold on to them because lately I have seen a flood of these on the market like someone busted a storage locker with some cases or something and the prices have been going down a bit. Wait until they go dry again and then sell them

i have been opening older products bc
1. i want to relive what got me into collecting again
2. back to basics with what sports cards is about
3. i hate the auto/gu market
4. i hate panini
but those out there who are busting these to make profit on high end inserts....think twice....not every product has a bling insert and its still easier to make a profit on autos/gu than this.

I like breaking older boxes because pulling any Auto or GU usually means you had good luck on that break. Guaranteed hits are nice because you can hope to pull a high end player, but when the ratio of a hit is 1 in 5 boxes (if not harder) it feels like an accomplishment to pull one.

I bought a retail box of 98-99 Topps S1 Retail for $9.00 at a show.. pulled a Michael Jordans Seasons Best Bombardiers card..pretty cool ! Has sold for over $20 on the Bay
