    How 'Bout Dem Irish !!!!!

Notre Dame is for real - believe it haters. #20 Notre Dame just stompped #3 Michigan in the Big House ! The game was not as close as the 17-10 score indicates. Notre Dame dominated the whole game & Michigan got a late touchdown to give their fans some false hope. Notre Dame has the toughest schedule in the nation & they are off to an awesome start by beating Pitt last week and now Michigan. GO IRISH !!!!!!!!

Im pretty bummed about that. I used to be a Michigan fan (converted to ISU) and I lost 30CC on the game.

Good win for the Irish though!

I wouldnt call a 17-10 win a stomping. The game actaully was a lot closer than the score says. If Henne doenst fumble that ball on the one, or turn it over on 4th and goal, or doesnt throw an interception in the red zone, then this thread wouldnt even exist.

Notre Dame defense dominated Michigan all day. As far as if Henne didn't do this or that, it's like the old saying - If the dog didn't stop to take a sh*t then he would have caught the rabbit.......

Yeah, MSU has had our number the last few years but I don't think it will happen again this season.

we our pretty deep on offense, but our best Defensive player is our offense (ball control), it will be a great game either way

If I were a betting man, I would NOT bet against either ND or South Carolina this season. I believe both are 2-0 vs. the spread this season.

So far, Charlie Weis has been a difference maker for ND. The players have bought into the system he brought with him from New England, and they are going to be tough to beat the rest of the way. It hasn't been this exciting for the Irish since Lou Holtz was coaching a few years back.

The real litmus test for ND won't be until they play USC. That should be a rocket buster.
