Those older parralels (can't spell, sorry) are frigging hard as hell to find anymore since most are either in pc's or buried in unopened wax. That being said, holy crap for 300 dollars I can buy a Jagr auto patch and lunch for a week. To each their own? Guess the Jagr guys are super hardcore or 2 set collectors got into it.

I think it's super cool seeing old insert cards sell hi. Sometime its a nice reminder that not everything is about autos or jersey/patches.

There are some 98-99 Collector's Choice retail blasters and a few other odd 97-98 boxes, but very few. There are no 99-00 UD's around.

The Gold Starquests are all in collections, not in unbroken boxes.

Not true. Walmart has loads of 98/99 Collectors Choice Hobby boxes on sale for $9 per box........a major reason why you have seen such an increase in the interest of this set and these parallels.....there have been a couple of Gold pulled from these boxes. I believe my local Walmart has 11 boxes of these for sale right now.

i was shocked that Jagr surpassed Roy by $80, pretty sure Roy sold recently for around $200. i let my LeClair go for $15 to someone on here awhile ago, only cause it had minor chipping along the top.

    Lol.

The golds are found at about 1:5,000 or more boxes of blasters.

Trust me, the Golds are in collections.

    yup

A $120.00 worth of shill, then a bit more at the end.

I was just gonna say it looked shilled but it has been said. That was a risky shill if you ask me, someone had to outbid that high of a price. I'd be happy to get a hundred for that card.
