Just curious...
Has anyone ever had a success in which the person you sent to actually sat down and wrote you a letter back? If so, who?

The longest letter I have ever received back was written by Bob Will (former Cub). He hand wrote 2 pages. Robin Yount, Phil Niekro, and Fred Lynn have all wrote letters back to me.

There have been quite a few. The best were:
- Tony Conigliaro sent me a Christmas Card.
- Joe Sewell wrote me a letter talking about rooming with Lou Gehrig on road trips.

The first time I had anything like that was a very long time back. It was with the first group of mailings I ever did. I used to hand write and fill every other line of my letters back then. I was a young kid and had asked him a good number of questions. He had taken the time to answer all my questions in between the lines I had written and mailed it back with my card signed. I have had a few since, but still have that first letter.

I have gotten note cards back from a few guys most write a few words and teh best one to date was Tom Erlandson. He told me about his carrer and his marrage to his wife and how he is in good health except for once in a while from being old.
Love the old players seem to like it alot more.
