10-11 SPX Master Set
This is NOT a trade or sales offer!!!
I simply want to gauge interest for future reference.
If any of you had the opportunity to buy a complete master set of 10-11 SPX, cards #1-250, all RCs and FFs included, what would you be willing to pay for it?
2010-11 was the rookie year for:
Tyler Seguin (Stanley Cup champion 2011)
Taylor Hall
Jordan Eberle
Jeff Skinner (Rookie of the Year)
Magnus Paajarvi
Marcus Johansson
Sergei Bobrovsky
Alexander Burmistrov
and other notable rookies.
Please be realistic! I am currently building the set and am trying to figure out if it's really worth finishing it.

tuukkatime has a set of SPAFW for sale, even though it's not complete (does not inlcude non AU and base cards) but he's only asking $600 for all the SPAFW AU.
I would think that SPx would be less than SPA. That could be a guide for you.

I think you could take this into consideration if they were both only selling the auto rookies from each set. A complete SPx set is much harder to put together than the SPA set.
When you say FFs, do you mean the auto versions too? If yes, then that adds 15 - 20 star autos to a set, some im guessing are pretty SP'd as well.
The problem with sets, is that people want to complete them for themselves. Unless your talking low end ( Upper Deck or lower ), I dont think sets really move. If / when you decide to move this, you should move them as singles IMO ..... sets just dont seem to do as well

I Had this one almost complete , at least all the rookies autos and jerseys. The FF is what makes this set a killer. At least when I was working on it the cards were fresh and all over ebay. I doubt aside from personal satisfaction of completing it, The resale value as a set would not be there . Good luck on it if you decide to complete it.
