I don't "look up" to someone like Miggy. I CHEER for him because he's on my team, and he's one of the best at what he does. Sounds like you can't seperate the athlete from the person.
Is there a reason you feel the need to cause a problem for no reason? Or is this a general thing that goes on around these parts?

Your twisted logic never ceases to amaze me. Not exactly what I said, but I guess, as usual, it went over your head.
You beat up a guy because he's accused of harassment, and says questionable things to the media. Yet you look up to a guy that talks about "typical white people", has ties to a terrorist, Has ties to a racist, Has disregard to what his constituants (sorry subjects) actually want, has a distain toward his country, panders to lobbyists ect. What's the difference?Last edited by sanfran22; 11-16-2011 at 04:40 PM.

The athlete and the person are the same thing that's what few people understand that cheer for people who excel in a sport. I just find it highly ironic that you want to scrutinize Tebow for making a few religious comments after a game AND still answering the questions of a reporter while Cabrera gets DUI charges and you still cheer for him. It's generally a thing that happens in these parts...the general rule is if you open your mouth/correct someone's post without reason and SOMEBODY is gonna call your out on your opinion sooner or later...nothing personal...welcome to the P & R Forum!

I cheered for Barry Bonds but I didn't like him as a person. They are not the same.

No, they really aren't. I root for my team and I root for Miguel Cabrera to do well. I don't root for him to go and drink and drive. Now, I root for him to keep up sobriety.
You really don't seem to understand anything I've said because you continue to put words into my mouth, something you just said yesterday to not be done to you (when it wasn't) and then make random comments looking to start a problem for whatever reason. If you have a problem with something i've actually said then bring it to me, but this is getting old, quick.

I think i've made myself clear from my last post...if you don't understand it then i'm not going to keep repeating it to you...you corrected someone's post since it was a big deal to you so i had an opinion on you correcting them. If that hurt your feelings i'm sorry...Last edited by Hilfiger1975; 11-16-2011 at 04:51 PM.

Sorry, if a guy is a tool in real life i'm not going to root for him on a field or court, sorry...because they are the same person if they are on the street or on a court/field...Last edited by Hilfiger1975; 11-16-2011 at 04:50 PM.

Whatever you say, chief.
I do love how you somehow know my opinions better than I do though. My feelings aren't hurt at all, I simply am not gonna say something dumb and get banned.
