Bulging jersey card question
I recently picked up a 02-03 BAP All-Star Jersey Silver and the patch is bulging out of the window (which I'm led to believe could be part of the hem?!). Not complaining - it's an awesome 3 colour card!!
I want to store it in a magentic one-touch but my question is, will the card suffer any damage long-term if it was placed in a case suitable to fit just the size of the card? Pressure on the patch?
I've heard horror stories (Screw-downs I think it was?!) where some have done the above, and upon opening, it had taken away some of the card after time.
Any advice would be great.
Thank you.

Use a larger one-touch. I have a couple cards like that and just use a 130pt for them with no issues.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I used to own a Backstrom Jumbo Pad 1/1. The card was a regular 75 pt. Bud the pad was way bigger. Ended up needing a 180 pts holder. And it fit fine.
Look for a bigger holder, should be no problem.Last edited by Yipper; 11-16-2011 at 07:36 PM.

Yeah get a bigger one just enough so it touches very slightly and softly off the front of the case when closed or like 1mm in between the swatch and front of case, will be fine. Do not by any means force the one touch closed! if anything it could mess up the patch or even cause some damage to edges of the window
