Can someone clarify a rule for me...
I understand we are not allowed to sell wax on here (not that I agree with that, but I understand why the site does not allow it)...
Does this also cover 30 year old sealed factory sets? I really need this clarified ASAP thanks.

So why did my 1952 Topps Archives set (from 1983) just get pulled and I get warned by a mod for posting it? This is really frustrating right now.

Because the phrase "It shouldn't" means I'm not sure. You be better off asking a Mod themselves instead of us regulars.

Tried that once when a trader lied to back out of a deal.. didn't help lol.
The mod did get back to me and although the rule doesn't say factory sets he explained "because people remove the good cards then re seal sets we do not allow them on the site".... anyone ever hear of this before?

here is the exact rule quoted to me that I apparently violated...
Packs/Boxes – No selling of packs or boxes of cards is permitted on SCF unless you are a staff member or sponsor. Factory sealed boxes of cards can be traded, but not packs.
To me this is saying I CAN trade my 30 year old set on here... please help haha

It makes sense to a degree...but the same can be done with cards just as easily, also...trading involves a risk to a degree isn't that what the trade manager and feedback is set in place for? I can trade some one a card that has been "altered" just as easy a card can be taken from a set...i think sets should be allowed to be sold...Last edited by Hilfiger1975; 11-18-2011 at 01:35 PM.

You need to prove to them that the factory box is in fact "factory sealed."
