    serial # question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    if a card is supposed to have a serial # but doesn't, yet it has the box for it ie 2004 legends rookie cards have a box and 2003 skybox rookies have this box also where the sn is stamped on it.......... is it just a mistake or fake???????????

    there are some cards i want to purchase but a little leery of it........... thanks

    Sometimes they make cards with that serial number box but don't decide to stamp it. They change their mind for whatever reason. I have a handful of cards like this.

    Most likely a printing error. But there is the chance of being a fake if you bought it on ebay or something. If you got it in a hobby store, probably just a printing error.
