i miss the chili peppers. from around 1985-1990 they were one of the coolest, most original, kick ™™™ bands out there....then they went on MTV and began writing run of the mill radio music. :(

That's because the band changed. Members overdosed and died and others left the band because of all the drug use. Also Anthony Kiedis is almost 50 now. You can't expect the band to be doing the same stuff they did in their twenties now.
