Hockey’s Ties to Special Events
Growing up on Long Island, Kevin Gilroy dreamed of playing hockey in Madison Square Garden. He finally got there two years ago — only to see “16,000 people in red and white.” Cornell fans, that is.
Gilroy and his Boston University hockey teammates will return Saturday for the biennial Red Hot Hockey, a growing tradition, B.U. against Cornell on Thanksgiving weekend.
