Started collecting again.
When I was a kid I collected baseball cards for a couple years. I just started getting back into cards (mainly football) and I was wondering what the best way to get back into it was. Like should I buy packs, boxes or just singles? And I was wondering what kinds of packs are good to buy and what kind of boxes are good to buy (as far as brands and all that).
Another thing is I busted out all my old card stuff. (Top loaders and sheets and all that). The thing is I cant seem to fit GUs in the top loaders I have. Maybe its because they are pretty old and really weren't meant to fit them in there. But are there special top loaders that I need to buy or will most newer ones fit the card in it?
Last thing I was wondering about is Paypal. I was thinking of getting an account but don't know much about it. Could someone give me some basics on it? I went to the site and read everything but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Also, should I get a personal account or a business account. I'm only going to use it to sell cards on the forums and on ebay. (Will also be buying)
And anything else that anybody wants to add will be appreciated. Thanks

packs are pretty much not very good use of your money...boxes are fun but i think you'd be happiest if you bot singles on ebay!....yes there are certain top-loaders for game used you can find at a hobby shop or wal-mart, target etc.....i dont use paypal but it's just another way to pay other traders for cards...

It depends on what you like. If you only like a few players, then you'd be better off sticking to ebay. If you like lots of players & are into set collecting, then I'd go for unopened boxes. If you buy packs, you don't know if the boxes have been searched. So stick to unopened *hobby* boxes (as opposed to *retail* boxes). The best deals are on-line.
