I know, this will sound typical coming from a Penguins fan, but i seriously think its his year for the Vezina, what do you guys think?

7th in GAA at 1.90. Pens are sound defensively as a team, so this bodes well for him

Right now Elliott is #1 in GAA, stealing the show standing on his head, as the Blues are NOT as capable on defense as the Pens.

Fleury is going to have to steal about 5-8 real close games to get some attention away from the other good goalies this year.

Right now Howard and Khabibulin are also technically playing better than MAF along with the surprise Giggy.

I think 20 games isn't nearly enough to start making a guess. Around the 50 game mark is when you seriously start on these kinds of conversations.......

Having said that, Fleury is off to a great start. No reason he can't be in that conversation later in the year, and he's got all the talent to be right at the top of it.

Very much so. He's #2 at the moment. As he continues to get stingy, his playing time will also increase. Rask will spell him when required.

Lehtonen isn't even in the top five at this point. All he has going for him is wins -- and as we saw last year (RICH!!!), being among the league leaders in wins alone isn't going to cut it.

Right now it's tough to argue with a top three of Elliott, Khabibulin and Thomas in some order. It's worth noting that Khabibulin's GAA is 2.70 so far in November, while Thomas's is 1.33 ... one of them is definitely playing better than the other RIGHT NOW. That'll change, of course, but I think some of the luster is coming off of Khabi's quick start. As we should have expected.

Rinne is ahead of Fleury in my opinion. We'll see as the season progresses though.
