"Mike-- Bob passed away yesterday Sept 29th. He was always pleased to sign autographs, so thanks for asking. Barbara K"
She included an autographed card of this Basketball Hall of Fame Member and returned mine obviously unsigned. He was the first USA player to play in two Olympics 1948 and 1952! He was such a dominating college player that the NCAA made the goaltending rule due to his blocking what would have been made shots in 1944! He might be the first truly dominate seven footer in the game. I am sad to hear he passed and my heart goes to his family.
