Just Did My Monthly On-Line Box Price Check

Wax sellers, one and all have lost their minds.

Since D&A have been given the keys to the city from UD their prices have gone thru the roof.

Last May D & A were selling the 05-06 Parkhurst Hobby Box for $69.00 on eBay, today it's over $100 Clams.

Several others are also way over the top. When will sellers realize that a 01-02 Adrenaline, a 01-02 Crown Royale, a 02-03 Vanguard will not sell at all when the price is near or over $40.00. It's a joke.

Pacific Manufactured Boxes from 00-01 through to 03-04 Exhibit will only sell at the $25.00 or lower mark. I cannot imagine hanging onto inventory for years and it not moving at all.

Some sellers are trying to sell a 05-06 Ultra Hobby for near $100 as well.

    Lol to all of them.

Did you make a mistake in your prices quoted above?
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-06-Uppe...item5644709927

    Looks like 59$ + s/h to me

Their website has it at 48$ + s/h.

My mistake it was the 06-07, not the 05-06.

Selling for more than $40.00 than it was in May, and not on their website, on eBay as I had posted

I find it funny that despite how cheap some pacific boxes are, they still don't sell. It's a shame that the product is not appreciated anymore. I understand a lot of the boxes feature mass produced lowend player game used, however Pacific really changed hockey cards.

There creativity with inserts led to the development of autos and game used. There one gameused a pack product has led to more highend packs. I wonder if they had never produced those one per pack game used sets that we would be seeing UD the Cup products early on as we did (2005-06).

Those old Pacific boxes are fun to break for a bit of nostalgia once in a while

One of my LCS has a box of exhibit for $105, Yikes! I dont dare tell him you can find it for $40 though. He gets kinda angry with the whole "I can find it for less online" crowd. I get a laugh know when im 65 or so the box will still be there...and Ill still look at it every time I go in the shop :)

Many Exhibit Hobby Boxes were available all through 2010 on eBay for between $25.00 and $30.00.

Atlanta Cards were selling them at these prices last year. What kills me are these Toy Sellers that somehow grab a hold of the odd old box of 93-94 or 94-95 Parkhurst and are trying to sell them for over $40.00, some as high as $75.00. Lol.

I PM sellers that don't have a clue and tell them to get their prices in line where they belong at or near $7.00 per box level.
