How does UD determine "value"
Hi, I finally received a reply form UD CS regarding a damaged card. In the reply, UD mentioned that they could replaced the card with a different one in the same value.
does anyone know how UD determine the replacement value? The card I have have been sold somewhere between 300~500 on ebay. Should I just keep the damaged card and ask for complementary card instead?

what ever you do, tell them you want to know what they're going to give you before accepting. That way if its not fair you cant just say no. Otherwise you're basically playing russian roulette

they do it the same way Beckett does....they have a shaman read some chicken bones on the floor and then they do some acid/mushrooms/peyote ...and then put in some numbers on Random.com and hit refresh 4 times....badda bing badda boom...you now have a value

They use Ebay, and if a rare card isn't on there, they compare with similar cards, which usually works against you even if UD means well.
I think they changed the policy off bv reacting to complaints from Diamond Clubbers that they were sending in valuable redemptions and getting replacements valued by BV that were worthless, so now they work off street value.
Pretty sure who you get in CS, how much they like the sound of your voice, and if they've had lunch are all factors in what redemptions you get.
