Different Companies Using Same Pictures on Cards - Lidstrom
Thought this was kinda funny, Upper Deck and Panini using the same picture on cards.

Same person selling photos to both companies?

Not only same photo, but also same photo-effects in the background. They must buy their pics from some of the same photogs.

The companies use the NHL approved photos from Getty images. It's not like they all hire several photographers to go to games for them

The smoke was from the All Star intros. It could be a diff picture. I don't think it is but obviously if they were shooting (if they didn't use a stock image they were supplied) that would be a popular time to take pictures they could of gotten the same moment on camera.
