    Base Cards

Just dug out 5 boxes(no big hits either) of 05/06 SP Authentic, Ice and Rookie Update and was wondering what everyone does with their boxes and boxes of base cards? Donate them to some random kids? Sell them all together for cheap? Create hockey card houses?

I'm curious to hear what you do with them. Because I might want to get rid of some bases too...

I'm in Calgary, but I don't have a huge monster 5 row of bases. Just a two row box at the moment.

I am 49 and kept all my card for the past 43 years. Some how, I am happy I did and lalty spent a lot of time playing in them and sorting them. I decided to pull all habs and started to enter them in my PC. I created a card room dedicated to my hobby. I started to enter them in my SCF inventory and been moving many since, helping other grab their favorite teams or to finish sets. Was able to grab auto and memorabilia in exchange. So to me, all cards have some value, even if just to classify them and have fun along the way.

Check my card room from this post I made this automn.

I keep all mine. I have shipped out TONNES of base cards to people looking to finish up sets, or just looking for base from a new PC goal.

I pulled sets out of the wax i broke and gave them to friends' kids as birthday or holiday gifts. The rest of the single bases i gave them to local card shop to help others with sets.

I keep mine and either trade base lots with other people or use them to help other people kill their sets. This Halloween I made up a bunch of packs of cards and a mini candy bar to give out to kids and will probably do the same next year.
