Kobe very rarely signs at all... Not sure what it is like in LA, just speaking from my experiences as well as others I know of in other cities... It's a toss up to me, I don't know his auto well enough to say real/fake.

just curious, what did you trade for it? hopefully nothing much because ip auto's are hard to trust

I gave him $20 cash and a Prestige Cam Newton draft day variation card and a base Cam Topps Chrome. I trust him. Hes a friend of mine. He better not of ripped me lol.

CavFanatic, yeah I know what you are saying there.

I collect IP/TTM autos for my own personal use. Me personally I would never trade for or buy someone elses ip/ttm autos unless I sat right there when the card was getting signed, a family member obtained it or it was certified by psadna. I'm not a signature expert so I cant give a good opinion on weather the sig is real or not. If I were you I would send the card in for authentication and take it from there.

I understand what you guys are saying. This is the 1st IP auto I have ever bought. But I am in the process of seeing how much it will cost me to get it authenticated. Thanks for the input guys.

As others have stated only real way to find out is send it to PSA.
To me, comparing it to other company issued sigs it def has some things wrong with it...
The K and the O most noticeably.

On the flip side, some guys sign completely different in person.

Best thing for now is to use Google and start comparing everything side by side, even print them out if you have to.
Another way is to gently trace the card/auto while in a top-loader then compare that to others online/in hand.

I've seen old and new kobe autos. I have a IP auto and it looks nothing like yours. I don't think I've ever seen a Kobe auto like that. Hopefully i'm wrong. PSA it.
