$40 for 2008-09 UD Series 1 Retail Box (24p/8cpp)
Shipping is $10. I think it's a pretty good deal for both. Thoughts?

from what I know ..... Retail Artifacts is garbage. My LCS cant get rid of them. Your looking at maybe 1 or 2 numbered cards per box, with a chance at a non numbered jersey.

If your looking for specific YGs, retail UD 1 or 2 is always pretty solid tho.

The Artifacts Retail, not so much, you arent guaranteed ANY inserts or GU/Auto hits, as far as I know, the UD I think is an alright deal, with that you're guaranteed your 6 YGs and I believe 1 GU

In the artifacts you usually get a rookie and like a insert /999, if you get any gu cards they are the retail kind and they arent worth anything.

I know there are no guarantees with artifacts. However, I've found Retail versions of GU to be more scarce than the Hobby kinds (sometimes, for example, artifacts) so it makes them desirable.

Decent price on the Upper Deck, although the only thing you would be looking for is a Stamkos YG which can simply be bought for around that price. Not much upside to ripping either at those prices.

You're far better off buying a 08-09 UD Series 1 Retail Box.

You will get 6 Young Guns with a chance at a Stamkos. The price is $32.00- $36.00 on eBay. The Artifacts will leave you steaming mad with little in hand.

Retail Artifacts is awful unless you hit a big name, RC/low #ed parallel or retail version GU.
So many boxes with 0 hits though.
