Authentication Question. Abraham Lincoln, Babe Ruth, and more!
Hello, there is any auction coming up near my town selling high end items signed by babe ruth, lincoln, churchill, john hancock and many more popular figures. These are authenticated by AMA, does anyone know if theyre trustworthy or not? Thank you very much

I've never heard of them but that's not to say someone else has. Word of advice, only buy what you want for yourself, do not buy to try and make a profit.

never heard of them. with autograph collecting as big as it has gotten you would think the original owner would have got them psa/jsa authenticated instead of this ama company. in my opinion i would stay away until you have the opportunity to not question the authenticity of an item.

Be careful since they are pretty unknown but if you can something for cheap it might be worth it. Have fun on your quest and let us know how it goes.

99% of the time I only buy PC stuff, but if I know for a fact I can come close to doubling my money I'll buy something to flip.
I sell a bunch of lots on eBay, I would think most of the people buying them are flipping them in eBay stores or at COMC. I don't mind though because most of the time I sell lots, they are comprised of cards that didn't sell for the .99 opening bid.. and lots like that with mostly jerseys or autos sell for about $1 a card.. like if it was a 30 card lot, I could expect about $30.. I combine shipping so the buyer would get the 30 card lot for the same price as the 30 individual listings if he won them all but I guess people like buying lots..

Anytime you see anything that old I would be very hesitant. A number of years back there was a group of forgers that were flooding the market with this stuff.
