    Hey all,
    I'm new to the forum. I'm just getting back into collecting after a fairly decent hiatus. I'm 23, from New York. I hail from Long Island but I live in Upstate New York now. I'm a freelance journalist currently doing page design work. I just recently graduated college with a B.A. in journalism, and now I've got the free time to resume one of my favorite hobbies.

    I mainly collect hockey, but might expand to football. Until I find a set or something that catches my eye, I'll mainly be collecting New York Rangers (my favorite team), and the NY Giants for football. I'm somewhat in this to have a self-funding hobby, as I'm hoping to make back some money on cards I elect not to keep for my collection. Who knows, maybe I'll pull something great that actually puts me in the green.

    I found this site because the eBay+Paypal transaction fees are a little out of hand these days, and I'm looking for alternatives to swap cards for cash or other cards.

    I've never used a site like this at all. It looks really great, and I'm excited to get started. I just broke some small hobby boxes, 2011-12 Score, 2x 2010-11 UD Artifacts, 2010-11 Fleer Ultra and a 2011-12 UD Artifacts. I'm hoping to get these cards added to my inventory on Sunday...I dabbled quickly the other day and it doesn't look too complex.

    Looking forward to getting involved in these contests, making some deals and becoming a part of the community!
