How do you change a name on here
I want to get my name off here and use my beckett name any one know how?

It cost 1000+CC, you have to sell card-trade card or buy for CC (card cash). I had to buy a new one, its not hard to get CC if you do GTS (Guess the Score) and then bet in the CC betting forums.

I would guess the intent of having the CC system for name changes is so that people who want to change their name and keep their feedback/CC/etc can do so. In this guys case he is a new member with no card cash and no feedback who just didn't put in the username he wanted (possibly confusing username with "user name"). I would think that the SCF mod's might be a little more forgiving and allow a change without the CC fee for people who haven't done anything yet. But then again, I'm not a mod so maybe that is easier said than done.
I suppose he could also just create a new account with the username he wanted and PM the mods asking them to close his old account due to duplication, but that's skirting the edge of the same-IP rules, so that might not be a good idea.

I am not in charge of changing user names. But I can tell you this. Whatever you do, do NOT sign up for a new account with a new user name. This is a typical scamming technique for building up feedback & such, so all such accounts are automatically banned.
Hopefully, a senior mod can chime in with more advice.

My guess would be that only Greg or Jay would be able to do this.
BRETTEARNEST- Try Pm'ing Prophet and explain to him that you want to change your name and why.
I am not sure if he can do it ,but it is worth a try.

hey guys thanks for the input, I just want to try to get all my user names inline, since I've been on beckett as usarmy_redsox for about 4 years or somthing and I know theres a few guys from ther,e here and I'm the same on TR. just makes life eaiser.
