    true. if UPS and Fedex offer tracking with a basic package then I'd think the USPS should be able to follow that model. Heck, as of a few months ago they put an internal tracking code on all of my first class items. It's to track they actual carriers but my question is why not make that code available to track only as well?

    Who needs a receipt almost a foot long every time I go to the post office. if you multiply that by the millions of receipts everyday you are talking tens of millions if not billions in waste by years end. Make them optional.
