    It doesn't matter who gets elected scum is scum, once they get elected they all become the same as those before them. Thats why it doesn't matter what they say or do while running for office as they will lie about anything to get your vote.

    I tend to agree and if they aren't scum (some politicians aren't) they will be hindered by the system. Even if a president has good ideas that benefit the regular folks they will surely be held up by others who have special interest in mind more than the citizens. As long as our political system revolves around the lobby (bribes) how can anything but corruption be expected no matter what party has the presidency? Plus, it's the same old people or families of people who have been in power year after year.

    All 3 are still in as of now. Huntsman should drop out and probably will soon if he hasn't already. Paul is still finishing 3rd or 4th in most polls so I think he will stay in for a bit longer. Last I saw Romney is #1 in the polls so I doubt he will drop out.
