Well It was real folks!
Sorry if this is in the wrong area! Please move it mods if it goes somewhere else!
Time for me to move on after 4 years here, pushing 40 and I cant keep up with the rise in product prices!
I sold my whole collection to a friend yesterday! It was hard to let go of my bears pieces. I gave it alot of thought before I did this! Had some good buds here and to those who i had some spats with, I just needed to realize this is only cardboard! Good luck to those who still collect! Not going to rant about the good or bad about the hobby. Just wanted to say goodbye to those who i had a blast chatting with!
I did order 2 boxes of gridiron gear from my buddy so you may see my last posts in box breaks, and everything WILL be for sale. I couldnt back out on the boxes I ordered a month ago with him since he already put his order in.Last edited by bearsfanincltnc; 12-02-2011 at 12:25 PM.

Hope you ca find another hobby that will bring you more joy and less stress.
Me, I've found my peace in this hobby by ignoring all the recent stuff and focusing on the older stuff, I just go for rookies of the older players that have certified autographs. I know this is more risky with all the fakes and it will eventually be more costly, but the research, "homework", and studying of the autos gives me more joy and relaxation than chasing the modern stuff ever could have. Sure my collection won't grow very fast, but the few pieces I already have bring me more pride than completing any modern set or owning ANY card from recent sets.
