    Some collecting questions

I was wondering what exactly is the deal with the refractor cards? I know that they have "Refractor" in small print by the number on the back of the cards, but, are they worth more?...what exactly is their appeal-if any?...How rare are they?

Another question, besides possibly the contents of a box, how exactly do you know that you are getting hobby boxes or retail boxes, from say for instance, ebay auctions, etc...?

If these are answered elsewhere, please forgive the post.

Thanks for any help with these questions,
    Matty

    1. Refractors arn't worth much more unless it's numbered. They definatly have more appeal because of the pretty colors. :P And the non-numbered ones arn't very rare. Any 'rare' refractors are numbered from what I've seen. I guess there could be some rare ones from the 90's that arn't numbered.

    2. If the seller is honest they'll say wether it's Hobby or Retail. But sometimes they either don't say which hoping you'll assume it's Hobby or they'll say Hobby when it's really Retail.
