I have it on my watchlist as well ..... too me it looks fake.
The patch doesnt fit the window, esp on the bottom where the letters are and on the whole right side.
Id stay away and get a legit 3clr number / nameplate patch and be happy with that if I were in the marketLast edited by canucksfan007; 12-09-2011 at 08:22 PM.

Thanks for the comments, so my hunch is well deserved, I still think it's fake. Not one of the /99 or /91 cards use any other patch other then the front crest. I do not see any "shoulder" patches used, and this I-S so close together with a small indent to the island looks like a patch found off a jacket or something. And with so many threads hanging over the edges, and the description stating some minor damage to edge, this looks like an attempt to a future career but definitely not the best counterfeiter available in the market today.
I have over half of the /91 images, and the only ones even close to using letters in the patch are 26, 42, 47, 50 and 76 uses the puck, but see how large they are.

Can't be real. Here is a scan of 82/91 (from the Archive link). This swatch comes from the Islanders logo from near the same section as the one on eBay. As you can tell, the colors are completely different.

On six place on the edge, you see tissue over the cardboard, that is not the cup quality and for that reason alone I would think it is a fake patch.

There was quite a few bids, it says 0 bids at $0.99 because the seller took the auction down. Above the picture of the card it says:
This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.
Just a little bit of info.

Beckett need to get some, ummm, common sense? God cmon you can see a gap in the top right corner of the patch window. Consignment like this is only going to get them in trouble. At least they took it down, such a horrible horrible fake patch job, a 6 year old could figure that out lol
