Love that we got a first for Sessions, since he was gone at the end of the year. Hate that we even have to look at Luke Walton though.

So I'm assuming they're gonna try and find a new (cheap) backup PG for the rest of the season? Or will they really let Gibson run the 2nd unit?

I heard they are going for a replacement for Sessions. Or they were, but trades sometimes don't get out to the media until after the deadline.
Maybe Walton can fold the laundry
They didn't renew his contract. Hasn't been on team since Sunday

They're staying put. So I'm assuming Gibson will run the 2nd unit. Which is scary....but great for their position in the draft lol
Only other option is to either sign a FA or someone from the D-League...can't imagine there's anyone out there.

Not only do they get the pick next year (if the Lakers make the playoffs), but I think they can switch the Lakers pick in 2013 for the Cavs' worst pick in 2013 (probably the Heat's pick we have in 2013.)

I wasn't aware of the 2013 swap. So that's nice. You gotta figure Miami will have one of the best records, so as long as the Lakers aren't the #1/#2 seed in the West next year, we should be able to move up at least a couple spots with our 2013 Heat pick.
