Well.....Waiters hit a clutch shot to give them the lead before they lost. So at least there's that?
And I'm just gonna ignore the Chris Webber move by him lmao

I'm not a Cleveland fan, but I do follow any free agency news regarding C.J. Miles so I thought I would share this...
Cavaliers to meet with C.J. Miles, according to report

I like the Miles pickup... I'm surprised he didn't go to LA. Hopefully he shoots much better though and isn't another Jamison. His FG% was higher when DWill was around so at least we can say that.
Really puts the pressure on Gee to sign. That'd be great to have him finally come off the bench again. It'd really improve our team by just pushing Casspi down further in the rotation lol

Agreed. I'm looking forward to seeing Miles get increased playing time. He will be playing alongside a better point guard now.
Kyrie Irving > Devin Harris. What do you think the starting lineup will look like on opening day assuming everyone is healthy? Irving and Thompson will start, but who else will start?

Not sure if I'm forgetting anyone, but my guess would be this:
PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: C.J. Miles
SF: Alonzo Gee
PF: Tristan Thompson
C: Tyler Zeller

I would assume their 1's/2's would be:
PG: Irving/Sloan (Pargo?)
SG: Waiters/Casspi
SF: Miles/Gee
PF: Thompson/Samuels
C: Varejao/ZellerLast edited by nadeau01_johnson48; 08-05-2012 at 05:35 PM.

Miles would start ahead of Gee.... Byron really likes him off the bench for some reason. And I'm still not sure on Varejao vs. Zeller. From what I've heard in interviews and things along those lines Byron still likes Varejao off the bench. I imagine Varejao will be the starter the first game of the season though.
PG: Kyrie
SG: Waiters
SF: Miles
PF: Thompson
C: Varejao/Zeller
I have no idea about Pargo either. I like Sloan, but I think both him and Pargo won't get more than 10 mpg next season.

Cavs signed Michael Eric to a deal like Samardo's... I was hoping he would at least get a training camp invite. My guess is he will spend much of the season in the DLeague. He's pretty bad right now lol, but I'll take him in a heartbeat over Semih/Hollins

Knew it was just a matter of time. Interesting to see how the minutes will be shared at SF. I think Miles plays a little SG, but not too sure. The best thing from all of this is that Casspi is pushed further down into the rotation....thank God
