2011-12 Series 1 blaster question
Hey everyone, I have a question about this years Series 1 blasters. Does every blaster contain an Oversized Young Gun or are they rarer this year?
Let me know. Thanks!Last edited by UltimateHockeyFan; 12-13-2011 at 10:56 PM.

The tins contain the Winter Classic oversized. (Or are supposed to. Three of the five I've opened had no oversized card)

Depends on which vendor is distributing them. In past years the ones that emanated from Grosnor (found at Shoppers Drug Mart, etc) had the oversized YG, and the ones you would find in Wal-Mart did not.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Mainly have seen the tins and basic blaster boxes.
Oversize YGs apparently are still in existence, saw a bunch on eBay recently.
Are there any other vendors aside from Shopper's Drug Mart that sell the blaster boxes containing the Oversized YGs? Used to get these at Shoppers in my area, but they stopped carrying product after the 2008-09 version. I found that these specific blasters seemed to give me better luck of getting top YGs as I remembered getting Stamkos, Price, and Patrick Kane in these specific blaster boxes (containing Oversized YGs).
UD1 tins are sold at Toys R Us and Wal-Mart (although it appears to be sold cheaper at Toys R Us).
UltimateHockeyFan - the UD1 tins are supposed to have the Winter Classic card (in a big plastic holder) on top as soon as you open the lid (and the tin also have a paper labelling surrounding the tin indicating the Winter Classic card inside). You should complain to UD about this if they are missing that Winter Classic card.Last edited by xelloss1012; 12-15-2011 at 12:51 AM.
