If you want to talk Finnish collectors and crazy prices, Kimmo Timonen.

Two years ago his high gloss sold CRAZY. I had one, as did BigFloppy. Being a common player you would think it would sell just like the other commons at 5 - 10$. But of course with Timonen being Finnish both sold in the 130 - 140$ range.

Top dollar is an understatement, they go CRAZY.

Of course there COULD be shill bidding going on here, maybe someone trying to set the market higher for Rinne, as its human nature to see one thing sell that high, then the other 34 have to as well.

But never put it passed Finnish collectors!

I just got in a trade an Artifacts Rinne patch/jersey auto /8.

Think I should list it at $0.99 and let it ride or put a price on with best offer and see what I get?

What price would you guys say that I should list it at?

    Any help is great.

    Thanks.

I stopped taking chances with my nicer cards. Too much risk. It couldn't hurt to post it BIN OBO for a bit to see the response you get

There was no shill bidding. It became a bidding war between some Finns and the winner, a guy who has been buying several of the low number Artifacts.
I trade by BV so please don't reference EBAY.

Yes, no shill bidding. There is some Finnish players like Joensuu, Rinne, Kapanen, Timonen, Salmela, TIKKANEN and Saku Koivu which can except a very high bids.
And then when Mikael Granlund cards hit to the market.. then we'll see some serious bids!

I sold a Bergeron 10-11 Ultimate Patches (I think) /35 listed it for $1 was hoping to get $10 at most it sold for over $100, 2 guys really wanted it, I looked thru both of their buying history and they were obviously trying to pick up all of these for the set, just one of those things I guess
