3-0 halfway through the first period. This could get Western in a hurry.

Shelley already danced with Chara and was slightly abused, Bruins scored immediately thereafter.
Boston looks so sound defensively, they are the best team in the NHL without the puck.

4-0 for the Bruins after one.
Couturier just took a slap-hot from the point to the head, just behind his ear. A bit dazed as his bell was really rung.
Skated off slowly, will have a massive haed-aik, hopefully not concussed.

Elliotte Friedman just said that Couturier is now concussed as well. Brutal misfortune.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Buzzard luck for the poor kid. That shot was moving and rising. He took it dead-on at top speed. It was not fun watching in slo-mo.
Just what the league didn't need, another concussion. If that shot alone does not make them take a look at better helmet protection, nothing else will.Last edited by centrehice; 12-17-2011 at 03:43 PM.

Now 5-0 Bruins, could get ugly especially if the Flyers forget to play Hockey like they have for most of the game.
Nasty stuff involving Lucic and Simmonds, ends up in a fight between Rinaldo and Horton. Decision to Rinaldo landing a few good shots.
Major issued to Lucic for hitting Rinaldo from behind which started all the nonsense.

When the rest of the league is worried about coaches etc. the Bruins just keep steamrolling over everyone. The only team left in the NHL that plays tough every night.

I regret trading Thomas for Lundqvist in my hockey pool a couple of weeks ago. And I also regret not picking up Rinaldo for tonight's game thinking he won't get into a fight. D'OH!!
