I don't really get why most of these are high end? The hoops set can be nice, but seriously, why can't they just do a prestige or rookies & stars? I want to see some rookie cards. Or, even a Donruss?

You're correct. I dont think I want to spend $200 on preffered, so hoops is most appealing.

See don't have an eBay account...'s Items on eBay

a buyback auto was a card previously released that the card company bought back and had the player sign the card and re-released it in a new product.

Hey, we were all noobs at one point :)

The "only 5 products" concept is a bunch of BS. If you didn't notice this Blake Griffin card says crown royale at the top and they didn't mention making an 11-12 crown royale set. Mark my word, all panini will do is put out 5 products but include previous crap that they already thought up.

It's really too bad, because I was looking forward to opening some packs of Prestige and eventually picking up a Jimmy Butler National Treasures RPA since they didn't make an Omer Asik last year.

Thank you! Sounds exciting, I will have to get a box of the hoops. There are some big names on the original hoops checklist!

I didnt even think about that, thats so corny, so basically previous products will essentially be insert or subsets? wow, you know I was all for panini getting the NBA license, but now all I can think of, is how theyre taking advantage of the collector, I really want topps, and UD back.

I liked the Topps Triple Threads basketball and the upper deck draft edition. The upper deck sp authentic was nice.
