AFTERMARKET cards
Does anyone know anything about this? I've never really seen this. It says in the description that, 'This is an AFTERMARKET card, and was released by Hoops WITHOUT the patch.' This seller has quite a few patch cards but I don't understand what that means. All thoughts are appreciated.

ANytime a person says aftermarket, it means they have cut the card themselves and added something like a jersey swatch or patch, or die cut the card, they then advertise it as being 1/1 or rare. There are a lot of cards that they take a base card, then use a die to shape the edges and then charge 5-10 bucks for their trouble on a 10 cent card. The nowitzki card you are looking at has some logo patch that the person inserted into the card themselves. You can buy those logo patches in bulk and do with them as you please, which in this case is cut up and glued to a card. If no one buys their crap, then they won't sell it anymore. At least that seller is honest and told bidders up front that he made it himself. SOme people will go so far as to take a stamp and mark a base card 1/1, or 01/01 in some cases they will tell you it is aftermarktet, but a few really horrible sellers on ebay won't mention a thing until after you have paid. So if you see the lie "I have a friend who works for Upper Deck/Donruss/Topps and got this card from them" or similar BS don't fall for it.

From his feedback most buyers like his work and know the cards are made.
No tricks, No problems
