Winnipeg Fans ?
What was the reasoning of boo-ing Tavares every time he touched the puck last night ?

We pick a player and boo them
Good players, hated players, players that have done stupid things players that are overpaid
I guess to throw them off their game, and it gets the fans something to cheer about(boo about)

Players should only get boo'ed in they have done something to deserve it. Being "good" is a stupid reason. Personally find it annoying as hell hearing the boo birds all game, reminds me of those horns at the last world cup lol

I was at the Ducks-Jets game this past Saturday(amazing atmosphere for this one) and it was awesome having every single player on teemu's line boo'd the second they got the puck but as soon as Teemu touched it the cheering got loud.
The games I've been at this year, the goalie chants have been the best. Everyone gets in to those ones.
The fans are making a name to be a very difficult building to play in!

Same reason that the Forum faithful have selected targets from opposing squads around the League: if you have burned the team at some point, you get the boos. It's a sign of respect that the guy can play...in most cases. Up until 3/8/11 that's why Chara got it, but understandably it's taken on a more harsh tone in recent months.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

On a side note, that's a sick avatar picture of you with the RDS sign! I really have to make up a sign for my next Jets game. I have a bunch coming up.
Not sure what I will do yet, but it'll have to involve Tsn to get spotted!

In Toronto certain players always get booed. Especially Alfredsson.
I don't understand why it is a news story just because Winnipeg fans are booing star players from opponent teams? I find it awesome.

It makes the news because many teams fans go to hockey games in suits, and show up with their laptops, work folders, and a sandwich
They don't understand why other fans go to get into the game, they think that's weird

but whats the reason for booing Teemu's linemates?? booing the players he loves playing with makes no sense. Teemu loves Anaheim, he loves playing for them, he's going to be go into the HOF as a Duck. There is no rivalry between the Ducks and the Atlanta Thrashers

Wrong he's going to go into the hall of fame a jet, duck, and avalanche
Otherwise he wouldn't be there
We booed the others to make it clear we like teemu, and the jets, not the ducks(although respect that)
Why boo Tavares? Why boo linemates?
Well, what do the American fans do, cheer the visiting team??
