    LCS Sterling Heights, MI

Hi, I just wanted to hear your opinion's on the prices of hobby boxes at my LCS I paid $80 with tax for one box of 2011/12 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Hobby Box it really doesn't help when I get jack out of the hobby box except a YG's checklist. Here is the link to the Facebook page for the store https://www.facebook.com/pages/Grand...p/359441745298 everything tells me to shop for hobby boxes online except I have to wait for shipping to receive my boxes. Is there a good point to go shop at my LCS because I'm really trying to find a reason?

As previously stated by Andrew it not a bad price. The best thing about a LCS is the bond you build with a dealer as they might hook you up with cards for your pc or set new product aside for you at a good price in the future if you become a regular. With that said if you do not like the price and you want a better price I suggest one thing. Head to Gibraltar Trade Center. Any card collector that does not go to that show misses a ton of cards be it singles, boxes, etc. at great prices. Just another option you might not checked out.

    Gibraltar Trade Center

Yeah I've been going to Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens since I was a teenager I'm 27 now and well the Sports Card Show has reduced it's size by a lot however for the best prices on all newly released hobby boxes that is the place to go but at best it's there for 3 days out of a month. I have a picture to share of me and Bob Probert there. Well I considered myself a regular at the LCS but he only took off the tax of the price once and traded me once for a Steve Yzerman card. They seem to be stubborn if you ask me and Gibraltar is the best place to go if you want to spend the big bucks saving my money and going to Gibraltar would be the wise thing for me to do.

Awesome picture thanks for sharing. I just love giong to the show. Even though it is reduced it still a great show for the majority of collectors who do not even have a show of that caliber. As you say in the heyday it was the best show period twice a month in the Nation.

Not sure how far away you are but you should try A and Z cards in Allen Park.

They opened about 4 or 5 months ago and are great on prices. I think series 1 they sell for $70 a box they were $65 the week it came out.

    Good prices

Thank you very much for letting me know of the new LCS it's a drive to get there but I could just hop on I-94 and it wouldn't take that long to get there if the prices are good that would make it worth the time.
