ebay claim help, is it my responability?

recently i sold a camera on ebay and the description included "body only".

the guy got the camera and said there was no battery inside and "it was going to be a problem".

am i responsible for providing a battery even though the description specifically said "body only"?

any advice appreciated.

anywhere but ebay no...but because ebay babies the buyers your gonna end up having to provide the battery or refunding him...i dont think you have much choice in the matter lol

i was going through his feedback and hes bought thounsands of dollars worth of used/broken cameras/electornics but he cant just get the battery himself, but he will pay $1000's for broken things...

Lots of time I clearly state things in the description, the buyer doesn't read it and wants a refund. Most of the time I just agree to it because eBay rarely sides with the seller and even if they do side with me there's nothing to stop the buyer from leaving negative feedback and low DSR ratings.

I have had buyers leave bad feedback in the past because of stuff like this, I asked eBay about changing it and they said the buyer has every right to leave their feedback/opinion about the transaction.. I told them the buyer is complaining about the item not being mint even though it stated in the description it wasn't.. eBay told me again that the buyer has every right to leave their feedback/opinion about the transaction...
