Selling them in groups could be effective. As in selling by players or team, a opposed to selling every individual card, individually,

Doesn't make a difference if you sell on ebay or on sites like this. I've found offline there are few people willing to pay more than 85% of ebay prices, so it works out the same in the end, just a larger market on ebay and the potential for a higher price.

I've found that card shows are the best places to sell. Not so many bargain hunters and there are more collectors rather than re-sellers that hang out at them. Those people are also willing to pay closer to a human amount and are easier to negotiate with, not so much of the "but this is what the most recent one went for on e-Bay" headache line. Nobody can take advantage of anyone else, because you are there in person, can directly show your cards, read body language, and then negotiate accordingly. As a seller, you still have the slight upper hand on stuff at a show, and the more people know you and the stuff you sell, the better the money you can make.

Selling cards direct to hardcore player collectors also works very well, as the same story applies, you get the best money and do not have to deal so much with the "but e-Bay this, but e-Bay that" lines.

Slyner, there are some big lot buyers here who may be interested. They could look for a cut under ebay prices but of course then you dont have to take the time to post them all on ebay and pay the rediciulous fees either

I really hope everything is ok and will be a shame to see you both leave the hobby :(, best wishes and again hope everything is ok!

Try selling your cards on eCRATER.com...they don't charge any fees at all, unlike ebay...and you can setup your own store...
