    I suggest that you pass this information to Bauldie the hockey OPG manager so he can make the corrections needed in the database.

    Most of the cards, if not all, of the ones I listed are correctly listed in the SCF Inventory as non-rookie cards. There was another poster who asked why some YGs in the 99-00 were RC and others were not. I had previously put together this list of non-RC Young Guns as a quick reference for myself and thought other might be interested in it as well. "The book" I referred to was the Beckett Hockey Guide, not the SCF database. Sorry, if that was confusing.

    Oddly enough, Pacific were really the only company that timed a Rookie Card to the players first actual year.

    Hundreds of cards in the 90's were labeled Rookie, Star Rookie, Prospect, etc...and were not the player's true RC. Sometimes as long as two years after their RC was issed. Topps, Pinnacle and Upper Deck were the worst offenders.

    People not familiar with 90's products need to do their homework to be sure.
